Low and slow: Simple grounded movement to awaken the body
Sometimes, less is more, especially when your energy is low and your body just wants to take it easy. On the days when you’re not quite up for a full practice, but you also don’t want to be a couch potato, you can start with some simple, floor-based movement and see what happens. It’s a way to meet yourself exactly where you are and keep an open mind about what comes next. Often, just a little mindful movement can shift how you feel.
This short, floor-based sequence is designed to gently warm up the major joints (hips, shoulders, spine) and help you tune in to your body and breath. We will keep the movements simple and slow, allowing your body to gradually unfold without pressure. Do this practice when your energy is low and you don’t feel like doing much.
Relaxing! Refreshed me so I could move on to other floor poses.
