Manifest your vision

There is a story about a poor man who wanted to win a lottery. Every day he would come to the statue of Saint Francis of Assisi and pray: “Please, please Saint Francis, help me win the lottery.” This went on for years and years, until one day the exasperated statue had come to life and addressed the poor man: “Please, please my friend, buy a lottery ticket!”

I like to think of manifesting our vision in a similar way – first we need to define what it is that we want (which you did in your weekly challenge last week), and then take specific steps that will get us there. If we simply sit and wait for the opportunity to fall into our laps, we might be waiting for a very long time.

HOW TO: Ask yourself – which specific steps can I take TODAY to manifest my vision? Those steps don’t need to be huge, but they need to set you in a new direction. Remember, as you walk forward, even if you change your direction by one degree, eventually you will end up in a completely different place. Pick one step that you can do today, and just do it. Then do it again tomorrow. And again the next day. See where it takes you.
