Review your schedule
What are the most important things or people in your life? How much time do you spend attending to them on a daily basis? Humble the Poet writes: “Your priorities are not revealed in your words, they are revealed in your actions, and your actions are revealed by your schedule. You can say something (or someone) is important to you, but if it isn’t penciled in, you are lying to yourself.”
This week let’s put our words into actions and “pencil in” our priorities into our schedules.
HOW TO: Identify three things that are most important to your right now. May be it’s quality time with your family, or getting enough fresh air, or doing your yoga, or following your creative pursuits, whatever it is. Then put those activities on your schedule for the next week. Be sure to do those things when the time comes.
Thank you Olga! There are so many things we could be doing at the moment and its good to have a reminder to bring some focus on our most important priorities.
I couldn’t agree more Helen! Have to remind myself to be mindful about my choices all the time 🙂
I have 3 important things in my life, I try to have at least 15 minutes working on them every day…I feel I´m getting better, little by little on every one of them…(as a matter of fact I have more than 3)
That’s wonderful! I love it that you make an effort to do a little bit of each every day!
