Yoga for core strength and integration

/
Comments15

Strong core muscles that work together make any movement you engage in more stable and powerful; they also help protect other joints (especially the shoulders) from overuse. The following short yoga practice will help you connect to the center of your body, strengthen various muscles that comprise your core, and facilitate better integration between those muscles. You will also use Uddiyana bandha-like movement and Brahma mudra to connect to your inner source of power and revitalize your body. Please give it a try and let me know what you think!

Thank you for a helpful class Olga. The strengthening practices were smart and
sometimes challenging but they always were within my capabilities, effective and felt safe. Is there a possibility of a lesson plan for this session please?

I really need this! That it is hard….is ok! Start where you are.

This was excellent to remind me of how much I need to work on my strength. Because of a shoulder issue, I did the plank with straight arms rather than on forearms. Thank you.
