Rise & mobilize: Standing preventative practice for the lower back

/
Comments4

When it comes to lower back tension, prevention and ongoing care are far more effective than trying to fix things once they’ve gone wrong. Paying your lower back consistent attention by regularly mobilizing the spine, keeping the hips mobile, and building steady core support goes a long way toward keeping the back supported and happy.

This 25-minute standing practice is designed to keep your lower back healthy and resilient. We use simple, accessible movements to mobilize the spine, lubricate the joints, and build core strength to support a healthy back. We also challenge the hips to move in every direction to maintain a healthy range of motion and three-dimensional movement ability. You can do this practice anytime, but it is particularly useful after long hours of sitting or whenever you begin to feel stiff.
